چکیده
Although recent advances of four-dimensional (4D) flow magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has introduced a new way to measure Reynolds stress tensor (RST) in turbulent flows, its measurement accuracy and possible bias have remained be revealed. The purpose this study was compare the 4D MRI particle image velocimetry (PIV) terms velocity turbulence quantification. Two difference rates 10 20 L/min through 50% stenosis were measured with both PIV MRI. Not only but also parameters such as kinetic energy production quantitatively compared. Results shows that well agreed PIV, showing linear regression slopes two methods are 0.94 0.89, respectively. mapping qualitatively quantitative comparison overestimates RST 1.44 1.66, In study, we demonstrate visualize quantify not tensor. However, further optimization for better might remained.

Four-dimensional dynamic flow measurement by holographic particle image velocimetry.
The ultimate goal of holographic particle image velocimetry (HPIV) is to provide space- and time-resolved measurement of complex flows. Recent new understanding of holographic imaging of small particles, pertaining to intrinsic aberration and noise in particular, has enabled us to elucidate fundamental issues in HPIV and implement a new HPIV system. This system is based on our previously report...
متن کاملFour-dimensional velocity encoded magnetic resonance imaging for more accurate blood flow quantification in complex flow
Materials and methods Maximal flow velocities (Vmax) and flow volumes (SV) were quantified by 2D and 4D VEC MRI in healthy volunteers (n=7) and patients with aortic (n=7) or pulmonary valve stenosis (n=10). Measurements were performed immediately above the aortic or pulmonary valve (=level 1). Using 4D VEC MRI additional measurements were performed at 3 further levels in the ascending aorta (le...
متن کاملa comparison of teachers and supervisors, with respect to teacher efficacy and reflection
supervisors play an undeniable role in training teachers, before starting their professional experience by preparing them, at the initial years of their teaching by checking their work within the proper framework, and later on during their teaching by assessing their progress. but surprisingly, exploring their attributes, professional demands, and qualifications has remained a neglected theme i...

Introduction: In radiation therapy, determining the location of the tumor accurately during irradiation is one of the most important requirements. However, lung tumors are not fixed in a single location and move during irradiation due to respiratory motion. Due to limitations in assessing such movements, using a lung phantom can be useful and operational for their fast, easy an...
